Most State Parks feature a waterfront location, campsites
and picnic areas. Several have cabins and/or group camps (all
with A/C) which, like other buildings in the parks, were designed
to reflect each park's cultural environment and ambiance.

Bayou Segnette State
Park
Alligators, nutria, armadillos, red-tailed hawks, Mississippi
kites, bald eagles, and cardinals are some of the many species

Caney Lake/Jimmie Davis State
Park
Situated on a premier trophy bass-fishing lake, the park offers
cabins, lodges, a group camp, campsites, picnicking, boating,
fishing, and an ideal spot to launch biking expeditions. Located

Chemin-A-Haut State Park
This 503-acre park near the Louisiana-Arkansas state line
is situated on a high bluff overlooking Bayou Bartholomew
and is a natural paradise for lovers of unspoiled beauty.

Chicot State Park
Fishing, swimming, camping, picnicking, hiking programs--Chicot
has all this and much more. The park covers over 6,400 acres
of rolling hills and water in South Central Louisiana. Located

Cypremort Point State Park
Offering sailing, fishing, picnicking, beach swimming, restrooms
and a unique marsh environment, The park is an ideal place
to spend the day on the water. Located in Cypremort Point,

Fairview-Riverside State Park
The park includes picturesque moss-draped oaks and woodlands
on the bank of the Tchefuncte River. Camping, canoeing, fishing,
picnicking and relaxing are favorite activities at Fairview-Riverside
State Park. Located in Madisonville, La.
Fontainebleau State Park
Camping, a nature trail, group camps, a lodge, swimming, fishing
and the ruins of a plantation sugar mill are a few of the

Grand Isle State Park
The only state-owned and operated beach on the Louisiana Gulf

The park offers two boat launches, hiking trails, playgrounds,
two swimming pools, a lakefront beach, a baseball field, camping,

Lake Bruin State Park
Visitors can enjoy over 3,000 acres of water surface on Lake
Bruin for incomparable fishing, superb water sports and fine

Lake D'Arbonne State Park

your mind, you will find a welcome spot at Lake D'Arbonne

Lake Claiborne State Park
This 620-acre recreational facility offers remarkable beauty
